The Vegas

So I realize this is from FOREVER ago but I just love these pictures of Emmett.

Back in November Emmett and I went to Las Vegas with my parents for a few days. It was Emmett's first airplane ride... and my first time traveling with a child. Whoa. Never, I repeat, NEVER sit with your child in first class. Bad news. Since this was a business trip for my dad his ticket got bumped to first class. He thought Emmett and I would enjoy the extra space... and we did. For about 2 minutes. By that time Emmett had emptied the diaper bag, spilled his cheetos everywhere (which the nice man next to us helped me pick up, judging me the whole time!) and then proceeded to knock said nice judging man's phone on the floor. Emmett and all our bags and marched back to change seats with my father. Thanks for nothing first class.

The people in coach loved Emmett.

And I somehow managed to forget to take a picture on the actual airplane. Mom fail.

Anyway, once we got there it was lovely! Emmett loved the lights and I loved the shopping.

Emmett loved the hotel and I loved doing nothing.

We wondered the strip a little bit one night and went to a show but mostly we just enjoyed the sunshine (not warm sunshine, but still sunshine) and all the beautiful malls!!!
