The 9 month mark

I am not raising a baby anymore, but a monkey. A busy, screaming monkey. A monkey that gets into EVERYTHING and never, ever stops! We LOVE our monkey. He had his 9 month check up a few weeks ago and we discovered this... Emmett is BELOW average for his weight and head circumference. So all you who say that he is massive, a stinky diaper will be found in your hot car.

Weight: 19 lbs 10 oz 33%
Height: 29 in 72%
Head circumference: 45 cm 38%

There's No Place Like HOME!

This is kinda last weeks news but... HE'S HOME! We did it. Made it a whole month. It was hard at times but soooo worth it. We are super happy to have our daddy home!

See, not so happy with mom...
In my defense, it was the middle of the night.

Check it

Ah! He looks so good! Preston is doing fabulous with his training. I have received phone calls and emails telling me that his scores are unusually high for someone with absolutely no training... Yeah, I know, Preston is good at everything. I hate it too. And he looks HOTT! Can't wait to see him... IN ONE WEEK! :)

Emmett Love

I had a request for Emmett pictures... so here's what we have been up to the past few weeks.

Our new favorite food is watermelon... Emmett cries when 1) he drops it or 2) he eats it all. It's so messy but so worth it!

Toilet paper. Apparently it's fun to unroll.

Preston's family ran in the Ragnar relay. Emmett enjoyed watching them run the finish line. They all did great! And now Preston and I are signed up to run with them in the Las Vegas one... I might die.

Emmett was super fussy after waiting for the runners to come in... so I was a good mom and gave him a chocolate cookie. He was happy for a long time! We were walking back to the car and a lady looked at him, laughed and said " did you take a picture?". Only then did I see this cute face! It was quite fun to clean up...

Emmett crawls everywhere! He really likes to eat the food from the previous meal that was thrown to the floor. He's a great little vacuum.

We also spent some time at Snowbird. We went swimming, not skiing. It was fun to get away and relax. The weather was perfect and it was good to see my mom's family.

This kid's schedule has been SOOOO messed up since summer hit. We are hardly ever home when he gets tired. He ends up taking random naps and then staying up till 10 or 11. Napping during dinner is completely normal right now.

Emmett LOVES playing with his uncle Josh outside on the trampoline. Oh and this new cheesy face? Not sure when it happened but I seriously love it! So cute!!!

Cheetos!!! Not real cheetos, gerber baby cheetos. But he sure loves them. And yes, that is string cheese on his head. We love eating!
