The End is NEAR

This is where I began my nursing career. Many moons ago at a little place called The PAL. This is my buddy Jenn, who also is a nurse now. Who knew we could make it so far . . .

I finish my preceptorship tomorrow... For those of you who are unsure if this is even an accomplishment, well it is! I am in my final semester of nursing school and with it comes a whole lot of hours in one facility with one nurse. I will have successfully completed that tomorrow! :)
I have been out at the Specialty Hospital in North Logan and I have LOVED working out there. My nurse is FABULOUS! Thanks Marcie! She has been patient, and dare I say loving, the whole time I have been working with her. I would very much enjoy working at this hospital some day. . . I didn't think Med/Surg was for me but I actually feel quite comfortable there after this little experience. I don't think I want to be there forever but the experience has been wonderful and much needed for my poor self-confidence. And so far I haven't killed or seriously injured anyone! :)
After tomorrow the focus goes right back to studying . . . for boards. Blast. Even thinking about it makes me nervous! But the good news . . . I AM ALMOST DONE!

The art of blogging

I am the worst blogger in the world. . . I think I might be better if I thought anyone actually read my blog. But isn't the point of blogging just getting it out there? I get sick of reading the "journal entries" that people write so I try really hard not to do that. I have a couple cousins or second cousins you could say that ROCK at blogging! I adore reading their blogs. My other favorite blogs- PHOTOGRAPHY! Someday I will be amazing at that too. Oh yeah and cooking. And crafts. There are some amazing people out there with some serious skills. Don't worry folks, my day will come. And then you will enjoy reading my blog. :)
