You may recall Emmett's hair looking like this...
And yes, that is how it ALWAYS looked. And no, it wouldn't stay down no matter how much product was applied. Oh and the back, well, it was a mullet. A nasty mullet that was usually sticking up. So one day I made an attempt to fix the back of my son's hair... it was not pretty.
On Sunday I decided we HAD to fix poor Emmett's hair. Preston took control and started trimming away at the back... Blending as best he could.
Well, once the back was looking pretty, the top was looking miserable...
So it got hacked off as well.
I cried. A lot. I am pathetic.
I also gathered all the pretty blond locks I could find and put them in a bag.
Apparently I am one of those moms.
Hair grows back. Thankfully. So Emmett won't have to look like an Army general for his whole life. And I am getting used to it. It looks pretty cute with a little wax in a faux hawk.
Plus, he is still the cutest baby I know.

i think before his haircut he looked so much like Preston, but with the hair gone he reminds me of when Josh was a baby.
