Holy poop. I love life.

Not that life isn't busy, stressful and dumb sometimes... but when I have the cutest little guy ever it makes EVERYTHING worth it!

Emmett has such a strong personality these days! I swear he has already outgrown the "toddler" stage and gone right to "small person". I am secretly glad some days that Preston is the one home with strong willed, busy body Emmett. Yet there are other days I cry as I walk out the door to work because I just got the best hug from sweet, innocent, read-me-a-story Emmett. I laughed as I looked through the pictures we took this last month. Emmett has so many faces to go along with his multiple personalities!

Determined. If he can get into my purse, this is what happens. His ultimate goal in life is to remove all the cards in record time.

Focused. Emmett loves music. (He inherited the best qualities from us!) Whenever Preston gets together with his brothers they spend hours on youtube showing each other new hotness they have found. (By new hotness I mean awesome new songs)

Content. Emmett could play outside for hours! He doesn't care if he's cold, hot, or wet. He is the happiest boy when he is outside. He loves the park and wrestling with dad on the grass. Preston and Emmett have enjoyed the delayed winter this year!

Caught red handed eating a cookie! This is the face I usually get when I bring out my camera! Guilty little guy.

Bliss. Emmett loves to play! We wrestle, chase, and laugh all day. He dances and spins on command and loves to fall on the ground afterwards. I totally love this picture by the way! I have the hardest time getting a picture of him smiling and looking at me! He ran away just seconds after this was taken...

Concentrated. We sure love bath time... but we love organizing the bottles even more! He will move the shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath and lotion (no clue how lotion got in the bathtub!) from one side of the tube to the other, line them up and then knock them off. He could do it for hours.

Little faker! Emmett has mastered the fake laugh and smile. He does it all the time and thinks he is hilarious!

Love. Emmett loves his mom. Okay, and his dad. Actually I think if there was a contest dad would win. Mostly because Emmett is a clone of Preston. How could you not love your older self!?

Disgust. Emmett eats what he wants and gives me this face when I try to feed him something he doesn't like.

Awe. Emmett is so happy when we go to Grandma and Grandpa Barfuss' house. They have this little nook that Emmett sits in. He loves it! Since everyone hangs out in the kitchen he is able to sit on his little chair and just observe all that is going on around him.

This picture just screams Emmett! I wish I had a full body shot because he is actually being a naughty boy and climbing on his high chair... He KNOWS he isn't supposed to climb on his high chair. He also KNOWS he isn't supposed to stand up while climbing on his high chair. And yet, here he is. And I have a photo. Because I'm a cool mom.
