Many of you have probably been wondering to yourself: "Huh, Amanda is kinda starting to look like a square." or "Is she seriously eating AGAIN?" or "I wish she would stop walking into class 20 minutes late every thursday morning!" or my personal favorite "Did she just complain about missing her afternoon nap? I swear she just woke up!" Well . . .
I can't hold it in any longer . . . WE ARE PREGNANT!
We went to the doctor yesterday for our first ultrasound and everything is going perfectly. The little guy was bouncing all over the place and waving his little arms and legs. (I say "he" because Preston claims he only makes boys!) We also got to see his and hear his little heart beating! It was the coolest thing I have ever seen. We were so excited to know that everything is going well and that the little guy is just growing and growing!
With that being said, Preston is totally carrying the next one. I can't eat what I want, I can't cook, I can't exercise, I can't stay awake for a full day, I am getting chubby and Preston claims I am making it all up! AH! For rude. So he will be pregnant next time.
We are really excited though and hope October comes quickly! :)

ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! Congrats from us! It is so fun to have a little baby around. I hope you don't sick. Enjoy all the sleep these next few months! Seriously, everyone told me that, but I didn't believe it, but now, I wish I had done more of it! You will make great parents. Keep blogging so we can stay updated.
ReplyDeleteYeah ! That is so exciting! We are not too far apart. I still have to take a nap every day and am so sick of eating so much, and throwing up and gaining tons of weight. Being prego is so hard and I am with you the man should do it at least once to see what we go through. The Baby is so worth it though. No matter how bad it is, they are so much more wonderful. I hope your feeling alright. It does usually get better by week 14.

ReplyDeleteHooray for finally sharing. I almost told my mom 3 times, but didn't. So if it is a girl you are naming it Taniel and if it is a boy you are naming it Isaac right? I know, we are your favorites so I am just so honored that you would name it after us. Thanks guys!
ReplyDeleteHey Congrats!!! That is such awesome news... I don't have any baby advice or pregnancy advice. I do live with my niece though and all I know is that babies are LOTS of HARD WORK!!! Good luck with everything.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I had no idea! So sorry that you are sick. That will go away at some point. And hopefully you don't have to wait until October for that. We are so excited for you guys and I'm positive that Preston couldn't handle pregnancy. He's totally a wimp!!
